Dupage County Il Family Photographer

It is that time of the year again, family photos will be in full effect.  End of summer and the beginning of fall is a photographer’s busiest time.  It is also our favorite time to shoot as well. Families begin to call and book family photos in order to have them for Christmas cards, holidays, etc.

The Cheshiers are one of my favorite families to photograph, partly because they are family, but mostly because they are so photogenic. Lisa and I were both raised in Bloomington/Normal. Lisa was raised by my grandparents and my siblings and I were babysat by my grandparents while my parents worked. We both moved up here at separate times in our lives but have always been more like sisters than cousins.  Our children are just as close as we are! Connor and Emma have grown up so fast.

While we were recently enjoying a weekend away in Galena we were able to take family photos and they turned out great.  It is always a delight when the children are so easy to photograph.  Emma had the cutest little smile ever. I always enjoy incorporating sunset and nature in my family photos.  When booking I always aim to book around sunset.  Keep this in mind when booking with me that we will catch the best photos at this time.  The end of summer is a great time to get ahead of the rush and have some photos done of the family. Fall family photos are always a delight.  I get so excited seeing the colors change and the leaves change.  There is nothing better than the smell of apple cider and all the fall scents in the air.
