Leila’s newborn session was so precious.  New parents are always fun to interact with and even better to photograph.  Leila’s newborn session was like something out of a book.  She was so precious and perfect for our session.  Her parents were so loving and so protective of her.  The smiles that were plastered on their faces from the moment I saw them that day to the moment they left were perfect.  Leila’s newborn session even had another member of the family join in.  Griswald, the family dog, was so protective of Leila during Leila’s newborn session and Leila seem to enjoy Griswald’s company.  Take a look at the photos to see how photogenic Griswald was along Leila and her parents.  It also helped that Leila was very sleepy throughout her newborn session.  It is so much easier for my subject to be as sleepy as possible so I can pose them much easier. I love shooting newborns and I had to privelege of captruing Leila’s Fresh 48 session as well.  My goal always is to please my clients not only so they can return as clients but that they are happy and satisfied with my work.  I am so happy for Leila and her parents and Griswald as well.

I never knew I could love so much,

Maternity Session, the Walsh Family | Dupage County Il Maternity Photographer

What can I say about maternity sessions that you don’t already know? Walsh Maternity Session is a session I fell in love with it the moment I looked through my lens and saw the beauty I was capturing of the Walsh family and their new bundle of joy. Maternity sessions are always a creative wonder-world for me. The possibilities are endless as to what you can do during a maternity session. These women that have been carrying their babies for seven months are just glowing and the lens definitely captures their glow and essence. Christa was amazing. I couldn’t ask for a more beautiful mommy to photograph. She was just enjoying being in front of the camera and I enjoyed making her feel beautiful. To capture images of your pregnancy is always a gift that I love providing to my mommy’s to be. Christa and I are friends that attend the same church and she has always been an amazing woman in our community. She is a youth pastor’s wife who embodies what being motherly is about. She has been a light for my teenage daughter and when she reached out to me to photograph her for a maternity session I jumped for joy. I was excited to reward her for being the beauty that she is and for being a mother to so many beautiful teenagers in our church. These photos turned out better than I thought and I was so excited to show her and her husband the finished product.

Baby Pederson decided to give me a run for my money! Patience is a virtue that all photographers need to be possess. Baby Pedeson tested my patience the first time and so the second time around I was ready for him. As a photogrpaher you will never have perfect photoshoots. There is always something that goes wrong or throws a kink in your plan. You have to adapt and be quick on your toes. Baby Pederson, cuteness overload, was not very sleepy during his first session so we rescheduled and he did much better the second time around. The Pedersons’ are a beautiful family and they are also a fun and active family as well. We decided we had to do a picture of him on his daddy’s motorcycle. Nothing screams daddy’s boy like having him ride Dad’s Harley Davidson within the first weeks of his life. Baby Pederson’s big brother had the pleasure of being the first to take pictures on daddy’s motorcycle. He was such a big handsome boy, and they are such a good looking family! I look forward to watching him and his brother grow:)

I met Brandon and Bridgette when they were expecting their first and I photographed maternity photos. Since then I have photographed Brayden’s newborn photos, 1 year photos and now maternity photos of their second child. I cant express enough how excited I get to watch peoples families grow. It is a true blessing and it is what makes me LOVE my job!!! Isn’t Bridgette just gorgeous? I wish I looked this beautiful pregnant!

The thing I love most about photography is watching families grow. I met Carlos and Monica through a bridal expo I did several years ago. I photographed their engagement session, Noah’s newborn photos, his 1 year photos, Christmas photos and now his two year photos. Its truly an honor for me to be given the gift of watching families grow. He didn’t want to sit still for his session so I got a good cardio work out in and still ended up with some amazing images.

Hannah’s Senior Session | Dupage County Il Senior Photographer

Hannah’s Senior Session reminded me of times past. Seniors! Seniors! Seniors! I remember my senior year like it was yesterday and the one thing I do not remember is having an opportunity to have a senior session. It would have been great to have one of the most important years of my life chronicled with a senior session. Hannah allowed me to live vicariously through her. The smile that this senior exhibited during her senior session invigorated me as a photographer. I found myself getting lost in the shoot itself through my lens. She was a great sport and she allowed me to capture shots of her in different elements. When she showed up for her Senior Session I just knew that we were going to have fun. She picked out some great outfits to change into throughout the shoot. Big shout out to her mother and sister for coming along and providing some help with wardrobe changes and also providing some comical relief to break Hannah down a bit so I could capture the genuine woman that she is. Hannah is such a beautiful girl and she was such a beautiful model for me on this day. I had so much fun photographing Hannah’s senior session. She is such a beautiful girl and was so easy to work with. Her signature pose is the hand on her hips and she rocked it well. Seniors are so much fun! Best wishes at college Hannah. Your are an amazing girl and I know God has big plans for your life!

Baby Greer was probably one of the sleepiest babies I have had to date! Mom and dad requested a lifestyle session, which I really enjoyed because I really get a chance to capture the family in their element. Between his cute little face, his hair and his perfect skin, he was such a handsome guy.

I started my photography journey in 2003 when my oldest daughter Pamela was born. I received my Bachelor in Fine Art with a major in photography The Illinois Institute of Art in Schaumburg in May of 2010. I started my business shortly after and have been growing it ever since! Photographing families and the connections they share is why I love what I do. My favorite thing about this job is when repeat clients come to me over the years and I am able to capture their families as they grow!
